Student art for November-December 2014

Teachers, parents or grandparents can submit two-dimensional work by students in preschool through 12th grade. Please include the artist’s name, age or grade in school and any title or description of the work, including the media used. Cailyn Austin, an eighth-grader at Marshall Middle School, created this non-objective colored pencil drawing in art class. The work was submitted by art teacher Sam Van Galder.
Melanie Tinker, a junior at Janesville Craig High School, created this pen/ink drawing in her AP Drawing class. The work was submitted by art teacher Maria Kane.
Afrah Khan, a sixth-grader at Marshall Middle School in Janesville, created this tempera paint image in art class. The work was submitted by art teacher Mindy Remley.
Karina Lopez, an eighth-grader at Phoenix MIddle School in Delavan, created this image in art class. The work was submitted by art teacher Hugh Petersen.
Kallie Madarik, an eighth-grader at Marshall Middle School in Janesville, created this watercolor figure painting in art class. The work was submitted by art teacher Mindy Remley.
Shelby Weiland, a senior at Craig High School in Janesville, created this image using watercolors. The work was submitted by art teacher Lori Barry.
Devri Turner, a sixth-grader at Franklin Middle School in Janesvile, created this name composition emphasizing lines, space, shape, color and value with colored pencils. The work was submitted by art teacher Sharon Gaver.
Cassidee Millard, a sixth-grader at Marshall Middle School in Janesville, created this fall painting using tempera paints. The work was submitted by art teacher Mindy Remley.
