Road work to slow Highway 14 traffic north of Evansville

MADISON—Expect delays on Highway 14 north of Evansville this week, the state Department of Transportation announced Monday.

Maintenance work is underway along 5.8 miles of the highway between Evansville in Rock County and Rutland Road in Dane County, according to the announcement.

Single-lane closures are planned under flagging operations. The department urged motorists to slow down near work zones.

The work is expected to be completed by Friday.
