The Milton High football team opened its season in impressive fashion Friday night.

The Red Hawks held host Baraboo scoreless en route to a 27-0 Badger Conference crossover victory.

Junior Isaac Phillips threw three touchdown passes for Milton, two of them to Chaney Passer, who finished with 133 total offensive yards.

Kyle Zucaro intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown to open the scoring in the first quarter.

Baraboo drove down inside the Red Hawks' 10-yard line in the final minutes, but Milton stymied the drive to preserve the shutout.

Milton hosts Waunakee next Friday night.
