Xtra Points: Previewing the high school football season

The high school football season is upon us.

The year kicks off with a full slate of games Friday night, including Janesville Craig at Beloit Memorial and Janesville Parker hosting Middleton at Monterey Stadium.

Gazette sports writer John Barry and Sports Editor Eric Schmoldt sit down in this week's Xtra Points show to preview the nine-week regular season for each of our area teams and conferences.

Who has the best chance to make a long playoff run? Will one or both Janesville teams be in the playoff picture a couple months from now?
