Intoxicted driving arrests

—ANTHONY LERMA-RUELAS, 17, of 1130 Cherry Street, Janesville, at 12:18 a.m. Saturday at 3515 E. Milwaukee St., Janesville. Also ticketed for operating after suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia.

—JACQUELYN R. LUDOIS, 22, of 654 W. Burbank Ave., Janesville, at 12:34 a.m. Monday on S. River Road, Town of Rock.

—ELLEN M. OSWALD, 53, of 27 N. Main Street, Edgerton, at 9:07 p.m. Saturday at 718 E. Highway 59, Town of Fulton. It was reportedly her fourth offense.

—NICOLAS J. SCHWAB, 32, of 214 E. Holmes Street, Janesville, at 12:06 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of North Parker Drive and Centerway, Janesville.

—MATTHEW N. VERKUILEN, 23, of 808 Sawyer Road, Rockford, Illinois, at 12:22 on Sunday, Aug. 2 at the intersection of North Ringold Street and Mount Zion Avenue.

Reported

—BURGLARY reported at 6:10 p.m. Friday to a garage in the 2600 block of Sumac Court, Janesville. Reported stolen were headphones and beer worth $62.

—STOLEN VEHICLE reported at 3:01 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of West Court Street. Reported stolen was a 2000 Chevrolet.

Accidents

—CHERRY STREET AT HOLMES STREET, JANESVILLE, at 4:35 p.m. Friday, when cars driven by Maxine K. Steinmetz, 61, of 418 W. Holmes St., Janesville, and Kaylie N. York, 20, of 2030 Bond Place, Janesville, collided in the intersection. Steinmetz was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. York was cited for failing to yield the right of way at an uncontrolled intersection and driving without insurance.

Charged

—JOSHUA Q. BOYD, 26, of 1235 Prairie Ave., Beloit, charged with party to operating a motor vehicle without owner consent. He is accused of taking a car belonging to a Janesville man who was trying to sell it. Boyd and another man allegedly took the car for a test drive on July 2 and did not return.

GREEN COUNTY

Accidents

—W2300 BLOCK OF COUNTY EE, TOWN OF ALBANY, at 3:57 p.m. Saturday. A motorcycle driven by Matthew D. Ball, 30, Beloit, was eastbound when he lost control on loose gravel at a curve. He went into the south ditch and jumped off the motorcycle as it slid. He was treated at an area hospital.

—N4500 COUNTY E, TOWN OF DECATUR, at 5:08 p.m. Saturday. Nathan T. Gill, 23, Burlington, was eastbound at a curve when he lost control and collided with a power pole. Gill and his passenger, Sierra M. Higginbotham, 23, Machesney Park, Illinois, were treated at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Gill was cited for operating while intoxicated and driving too fast for conditions.

—COUNTY T NORTH OF STATELINE ROAD, TOWN OF SPRING GROVE, at 12:10 p.m. Friday. A motorcycle driven by Joshua J. Reeder, 30, Davis, Illinois, was northbound when he lost control, went off the road and was ejected from the cycle, which continued into the west ditch. Reeder was flown from the scene by REACT. Reeder was not wearing a helmet. The accident remains under investigation.
