County NN construction will close entrances to some Walworth County buildings

ELKHORN—Work on County NN will mean entrances to some county buildings will be closed next week, according to a news release from the Walworth County Public Works Department.

Starting Monday:

-- The four entrances to the law enforcement center and the judicial center will be reduced to one, according to the news release. The complex includes the Walworth County Jail, sheriff's office and courthouse.

From Monday to Wednesday, drivers should use the main entrance to the law enforcement center.

On Thursday and Friday, drivers should use the west entrance of the law enforcement center.

The closures and changes will be clearly marked.

-- The three entrances to the Lakeland Health Care Center will be reduced to one.

From Monday to Wednesday, drivers should use the east entrance. On Thursday and Friday, drivers should use the west entrance.

On Saturday, all entrances on the north side of the road will reopen.

Also on Saturday, entrances on the south side of County NN road will be closed for a short time. While entrances are closed, access to the buildings on the south side of the road will be through the Walworth County Department of Public Works driveway. The south side of County NN is home to Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, the community gardens and county offices.

By the end of Saturday, entrances on both sides of the road should be open.

County NN is being reconstructed from Bray Road to the east side of the county complex.

Work started in April and is slated to be completed by Oct. 31.
