EAST TROY--Police made 38 arrests and issued 133 citations during last weekend's Phish concerts at Alpine Valley Music Theatre, according to a Walworth County Sheriff's Office news release.
New Berlin police, the sheriff's office and Wisconsin State Patrol focused on Interstate 43 on Aug. 8 and 9 while the sheriff's office and the sheriff's office drug unit worked at or near the venue, according to the news release.
Results of the two-day action include:
-- 62 citations for possession of marijuana.
-- 41 citations for possession of drug paraphernalia.
-- Two citations for underage consumption of alcohol.
-- One citation for obstructing an officer.
-- Five arrests for possession of marijuana
-- Four arrests for possession of drug paraphernalia.
-- Three arrests for possession of LSD.
-- Two arrests for resisting an officer.
-- One arrest for delivery of LSD.
-- One arrest for delivery of phencyclidine.
-- One arrest for falsely present MDMA.
-- One arrest for possession of Xanax.
-- One arrest for disorderly conduct.
-- One arrest for possession of psilocybin.
-- One arrest for possession of ecstasy.
-- One arrest for possession of illegally obtained prescription.
-- One arrest for possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
-- 15 other drug arrests.
-- 87 traffic stops.
-- 166 warnings.
-- 27 traffic citations.
-- 13 K-9 deployments.
Total weekend attendance was 33,400 with 19,300 attending Saturday and 14,100 attending Sunday.
