TOWN OF HARMONY—An Avalon man was arrested on a charge of sixth-offense drunken driving Tuesday night after the Rock County Sheriff's Office received a report of a pickup truck with a flat tire driving into oncoming traffic on County MM near Tarrant Road.
The incident was reported at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies stopped a pickup and talked with the driver, Robert D. Feldman, 51,who was slurring his words and admitted to consuming alcohol, according to a sheriff's office news release.
Feldman failed field sobriety tests, was arrested and taken to the Rock County Jail.
He also was cited for failure to wear a seat belt, according to the release.
Feldman was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
