Former Parker standout Bass sounds off on Klawitter saga

Former Parker High School girls basketball standout Mistie Bass has shared her thoughts on the recent coaching change at her alma mater.

Bass helped the girls basketball team to two state championship titles before graduating in 2002.

Bass, who is a former Associated Press player of the year and currently plays for the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, let her feelings be known Thursday in a Facebook post, according to Madison.com's Rob Hernandez:

“After viewing the recent happenings concerning the Janesville Parker hiring from afar.... I have decided to offer up my opinion! I am very disappointed in how this was handled! I cannot believe that Parker High school would treat my former coach with such disrespect after all he has done for the program!"
