Milton to host summer sport camps

MILTON—Milton will host a slew of sport camps and clinics this summer.

-- Boys entering third through eighth grade can join a basketball camp running afternoons June 15 to 18 at the high school. Registration costs $40 and is due June 12 to guarantee a T-shirt.

-- The Milton High School girl's swim team will host a swim clinic from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at the school's indoor pool. The clinic will emphasize stroke development, starts and turns and relays.

Register on the district's website or on site the day of the event. The $40 registration fee includes a T-shirt, snack and goodie bag.

-- Milton Red Hawks soccer camp runs 6 to 8 p.m. July 13 to 16 in Schilberg Park. The camp will emphasize foot and tactical skills.

The $50 fee includes a T-shirt. Registration ends June 26.

-- Girls entering sixth through ninth grade this fall can join a volleyball camp running afternoons Aug. 11 to 13 at the high school. Participants will learn everything from court layout to playing the game at a competitive level. Registration ends July 1 and costs $75 and includes a T-shirt.
