JANESVILLE-Expectant mothers and mothers with children born between April and October 2015 are invited to attend the annual Rock County Community Baby Shower from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Pontiac Convention Center, 2809 N. Pontiac Drive.
The free event aims to educate women on how to keep their babies safe and healthy during the first year of life.
Various community organizations and service agencies will provide information, conduct workshops and host resource booths.
The event is open to mothers and fathers and their children ages 6 months or younger.
