The East Troy Railroad Museum and Black Point Estate will host a Beer Tasting Train Sept. 9. The tasting will include a variety of beers brewed in Wisconsin today, including weissbiers, lagers, ales and steam beers. Michael Rehberg, lead interpreter at Black Point Estate, will lead the tasting. 18th annual Old Farmin' Days, Sept. 9, Ward Family Farm in northern Boone County, 1171 Rockton Road, Caledonia, Illinois. Demos of antique farm equipment being powered by either antique tractors or teams of draft horses from9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Back again this year is “Haying with Horses” a demo plus antique tractor pulls, pedal tractor pulls for the kids, kid's games, a petting zoo, wagon rides, chainsaw art and blacksmithing.
