Fontana woman charged with 4th OWI has child in car

ELKHORN—A Fontana woman is charged with fourth-offense intoxicated driving after she was in an accident with a 7-year-old child in her car, according to a criminal complaint.
Fontana police say Jamie L. Hibbard, 31, of 556 Upper Gardens Road was stopped at about 7:49 p.m. April 16 at Stearns Road and North Lakeshore Drive in Fontana, according to the complaint filed in Walworth County Court.
No information about the accident was available.
A blood test showed Hibbard's blood alcohol content was 0.214, nearly three times the legal limit, according to the complaint. Hibbard told police she drank three beers since noon that day.
Hibbard's three previous intoxicated driving convictions resulted from three 2006 incidents, all just over one month apart, according to the complaint.
