Crews respond to brush fire in Delavan

DELAVAN—Emergency services responded to an out-of-control brush fire on Creekside Drive on Sunday afternoon.
The fire was caused by the illegal burning of a small pile of yard waste. City ordinance prohibits open burning at this time of year, according to the Delavan Police Department Facebook page.
The call came in at 2:02 p.m. A Delavan official declined to give more information.
