ELKHORN—A second Badger High School student was charged Monday with taking and distributing pictures of him and another student having sex with a then-16-year-old girl.

Tias L. Larson, 17, of 1400 Hunters Ridge Drive, No. 111, Genoa City, is charged in Walworth County Court with party to child sexual exploitation by filming a person under the age of 18, according to the criminal complaint.

The other student, Blake L. Dodd, 17, was charged Sept. 20 with the same felony. The maximum penalty is 12 years and six months in prison and a fine up to $25,000.

On Feb. 19, the girl invited Dodd to her home to hang out and watch a movie, but she told authorities Dodd brought Larson, who was not invited, according to the complaint.

The girl told police the two boys, both 16 years old at the time, forcibly had sex with her simultaneously while taking pictures and a video the two boys later shared with others, according to the complaint. The girl said she had no idea photos or a video were taken during the incident until students mentioned them to her at school.

There are no sexual assault charges filed against Larson or Dodd.

Larson and Dodd were "high-fiving," laughing and repeatedly switching sexual positions during the incident, according to the complaint.

The girl told police the sex was painful and she was "making noises and trying to get them to stop, but they wouldn't," according to the complaint. She told police after she started crying and told them to stop, Larson started laughing and told Dodd to keep going, "so he did."

On Feb. 26, police met with Larson and Dodd separately at school, according to the complaint.

Larson told the detective they took "a few pictures" during the incident. Larson said the girl was in one picture, but her face was not showing, according to the complaint.

He also said he might have taken a "quick" video on Dodd's phone during the incident.
Larson told the detective he sent a picture of the incident to someone, according to the complaint.

The picture obtained by police shows Larson and Dodd both facing the camera high-fiving while the girl, who appeared to be naked, was between the two boys not facing the camera, according to the complaint.

Dodd admitted sending the photo to Larson and told friends about the incident and showed them the picture, but he denied video was taken, according to the complaint.
Deputy District Attorney Haley Johnson said in an email Dodd and his attorney, John Murphy, requested a judge substitution from Judge Kristine Drettwan to Judge Phil Koss. The request for substitution was approved Oct. 26.

Larson was released on signature bond and is not allowed to contact Dodd or the girl, according to online court records.

Dodd will next appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, for an arraignment.

Larson is next due in court at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, for a preliminary hearing.
