ELKHORN—An Elkhorn man is accused of choking and throwing into the wall an 11-year-old child he knows July 21, according to a criminal complaint.
Jason A. Yost, 38, of N7701 Laura Lane, Elkhorn, is charged in Walworth County Court with one count of physical abuse of a child, intentionally causing bodily harm, according to the complaint.
Yost choked and threw the child and hit the child's head on the wall twice, according to the complaint. The child told law enforcement he could not talk immediately after being choked.
The child told law enforcement Yost did not hurt the two other children present during the alleged incident because one was a girl and one was mentally disabled, according to the complaint.
