U.S. Cellular adds Delavan site

U.S. Cellular recently established a new cell site near Delavan Lake. The site will increase U.S. Cellular's coverage in the community.

“We care about our local communities, and we will continue to invest in our network so your phone works whether you are in your backyard or across the country,” John Heimsch, U.S. Cellular director of sales in Wisconsin and northern Illinois, said in a news release.

To select locations for new cell sites, U.S. Cellular has teams of system performance engineers who drive through the company's network coverage area to test signal strength and call quality. The company also listens to the customer feedback to help identify communities that would benefit from another cell site.
