Health department to distribute fans

ELKHORN--The high temperatures and high humidity predicted for this week can affect some worse than others, particularly the elderly and those who have health issues that can be exacerbated in the heat.

Walworth County Division of Public Health is partnering with community organizations to distribute box fans throughout the county to individuals who don't have the means to remain cool in the summer months and are more prone to heat-related injuries and health problems.

According to a news release from the division of public health, fans are available during hours of operation at the following locations while supplies last, limit one per household:
