Construction to shut some traffic signals in Whitewater

WHITEWATER--Construction work will shut down the traffic signals at the intersection of West Main and Elizabeth streets in Whitewater beginning Monday, May 16, according to a news release from the city of Whitewater.

Traffic on Elizabeth Street will have a stop sign before entering Main Street. Traffic on Main Street will not be required to stop. Drivers are urged to exercise caution at the intersection.

According to the release, work is expected to be completed no later than Tuesday, May 31.
