Beloit woman killed in one-car crash in town of Whitewater
TOWN OF WHITEWATER--A Beloit woman died in a one-vehicle crash Thursday in the town of Whitewater, according to a release from the Walworth County Sheriff's Office.
The victim, identified as Truley Unique Roberson, 24, was killed after her car failed to negotiate a curve and struck a power pole at W9457 Wisconsin Highway 59, in the town of Whitewater, according to the release. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.
Walworth County deputies and the Whitewater Fire Department were dispatched to the scene of the accident at 9:11 p.m. Thursday, according to the release.
Roberson had to be extricated from the vehicle. Firefighters attempted to revive Roberson, but she died at the scene of the crash.
The Walworth County Sheriff's Office was also assisted by the Fort Atkinson Hospital Paramedic Intercept, the Whitewater Police Department, and the Walworth County Medical Examiner's Office.
