Two die in Walworth County crash Saturday

TOWN OF SPRING PRAIRIE—Two people died in a two-vehicle crash Saturday night on Highway 120 in eastern Walworth County, the sheriff's department reported.

Identities of those involved were not released as of 11 a.m. Sunday. The medical examiner's office was notifying the families, according to a news release.

The crash occurred around 7:49 p.m. on Highway 120 just south of Highway 11, according to the news release.

Each vehicle contained multiple occupants, who were taken to area hospitals, according to the news release.

The driver of one vehicle and a passenger in the other vehicle died, while the other occupants were in critical condition, according to the release.

Assisting the sheriff's office at the scene were the State Patrol, Flight for Life, Paratech Ambulance, and fire and rescue units from the town of Lyons, Elkhorn and East Troy.
