Town of Delavan man charged with sixth-offense drunken driving

ELKHORN—A town of Delavan man is accused of sixth-offense intoxicated driving in Walworth County Court.
On the morning of Sept. 14, town of Delavan police responded to a call of an unwanted and possibly armed subject at a home. When officers arrived, they found Elijah E. Caldwell, 37, standing in the front yard, according to the criminal complaint.
Caldwell, 4634 County O, told police he had been drinking while watching the Green Bay Packers game before driving to a former girlfriend's home, the complaint states.
Caldwell is charged with operating while intoxicated, sixth offense.
Caldwell is being held at the Walworth County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond. He will appear in court next at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at the Walworth County Judicial Center.
