Douglas A. Lee, age 37, of Normal, IL, formerly of Footville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at his home. He was born Nov. 27, 1978, in Janesville, the son of Dennis and Shirley (Parmer) Lee. Doug attended schools in the Parkview district, and was a graduate of Orfordville Parkview High School, Class of 1997. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Canyon University. On Oct. 13, 2001, he married the former Cristin M. Wixom at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Janesville. Doug was an avid runner, and had recently signed up for his first marathon this next year in Seattle. He was an avid Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer fan. He was a very talented sand volleyball player. Doug was afforded the chance to be a stay-at-home Dad, and absolutely loved being able to be the CEO of the House! He was the envy of friends and neighbors for his organizational skills, and was even asked what his secrets were to keeping his family's schedules so balanced! He was an excellent cook, and will be missed for his annual Christmas cookies! Doug very much loved to travel, both as a family, and also his annual get-away with Cristin! Doug was a person who absolutely brought out the best in everyone he met. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved sharing it with others! His generosity will be missed by all, especially his wonderful neighbors in the Northbridge neighborhood! His greatest love was his family, and he devoted his life to Cristin, Kennedy, and Kaden, being the best husband and Dad he could be. He was active with the Epiphany Catholic School where his kids are students.

Doug is survived by his loving wife, Cristin; his two beloved children, Kennedy Lee and Kaden Lee; his parents, Shirley and Dennis Lee of Footville, WI; his mother-in-law, Nancy Coorough Wixom of Janesville; his sister, Dennise (Pat) McGoff of Orfordville, WI; his brother-in-law, Charlie (Shannon) Wixom of Janesville; grandparents: Richard Wixom and Gerald and Eldora Coorough; his nieces and nephews: Michaela, Easton, Leah, Ledgor, Delaney, and Blake; aunts; uncles; cousins; his dear friends from the Northbridge Neighborhood; and Epiphany Catholic Church and School, and by many other friends.
