Janesville man arrested Monday on sixth OWI charge

TOWN OF PLYMOUTH—A Janesville man was hospitalized and arrested on suspicion of sixth-offense intoxicated driving after a single-vehicle traffic crash Monday night in the town of Plymouth, according to a Rock County Sheriff's Office news release.
Paul D. Fromandi, 49, was traveling south on Highway 213 when his vehicle left the road. When deputies arrived at 5:51 p.m. at Highway 213 and Plymouth Church Road, they smelled intoxicants in the vehicle and on the driver, according to the release.
Deputies and Orfordville emergency workers found Fromandi inside the vehicle with injuries. He was taken to Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center, Janesville, where he was listed in good condition Tuesday morning, a hospital spokeswoman said.
