Richard L. Brieske, age 80, of Janesville, passed away Monday evening, Nov. 30, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born Jan. 22, 1935, in LaCrosse, WI, the son of the late Norman and Vera (Tibbetts) Brieske. Dick was employed by General Motors Corp. for over 37 years, retiring as a Materials Handler. He also had owned and operated the Brieske Antenna Service. He loved to go fishing, and enjoyed working outdoors in the garden on his land outside of Fulton. He will be remembered as a very kind and generous man who loved his family!
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Karen H. (Kellogg) Brieske; his children; his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and his beloved buddy, his dog, Gunnar.
As per Richards' wishes, private family services will be held. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials in Richard's name would be appreciated to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin, 222 S. Arch St., Janesville, WI 53548.
