Gerald Eugene Reynolds, age 87, of Wisconsin Dells, WI, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Gerald was born Feb. 16, 1928, in Lancaster, WI, to Earl Reynolds and Blanch (Birch) Reynolds. He was married to Kay (Saam) Reynolds for 22 years. In 1977, Gerald married his second wife, Shirley Vine in Evansville, WI. They remained in the Evansville area until moving to Adams County, WI, in 1982. Gerald spent four years serving in the Army. His favorite indoor past time was baking. His love for the great outdoors included gardening, fishing, hunting, and building on his land. He also had a great love for animals such as his horses, cats and dogs. He worked at General Motors of Janesville, WI, and retired after 30 years of service. Gerald was a very loving husband and father.
Survivors include his sons: Thomas (Betty) Reynolds and Patrick (Heidi) Reynolds; his daughter, Barbara Gilson; stepchildren: Roger (Sue) O'leary, Paulette O'leary, Wendy (Carl) Langer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley; brother, Ronald; and sister, Ruth.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov, 19, 2015, at the BIG FLATS CEMETERY in Big Flats, WI. Rev. Richard Eberly will officiate.
