Joan E. Mullen (Knuth) was taken home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center. She was born in Janesville, on March 17th, 1928, the daughter of the late William F. Knuth and Esther (Westendorf) Knuth Rogge. Joan attended St Paul's Lutheran School and Church, and Janesville High School, graduating in 1945. She enjoyed time with her family, golfing and boating.
Joan was a devoted mother to her daughter, Patricia A. Seaverson and her children: Shelly Seaverson, Joshua Seaverson, and Alec (Angela) Seaverson; son, Gregory (Catherine) R. Mullen, and their children: Matthew Mullen, Hayley (Jason) Griffin, Michael (Beth) Mullen and Andrew Mullen; seven great-grandchildren; a niece, Sarah (Bryce) Hach; and one great niece. She was preceded in death by her sister, Judith E. Kneece.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at 12 Noon at ST. PAUL'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH with Rev. Daniel Decker officiating. A visitation will take place prior to the service at 11 a.m. at the CHURCH. Internment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
