JANESVILLE—One person was hospitalized with “minor” injuries hour after a vehicle rollover crash on the southbound exit ramp at Interstate 90/39 and Highway 26 on Janesville's north side Thursday evening, the Wisconsin State Patrol reports.

Police and medics responded to an apparent single-vehicle rollover that injured one person and left the southbound ramp at I-90/39 shut down for an hour.

A dispatcher at the state patrol's DeForest post said the crash, which was at about 7:45 p.m. Thursday, apparently happened as a person was driving a vehicle onto the exit ramp and then lost control. The vehicle went off the ramp and rolled over, the dispatcher said.

It wasn't immediately clear how many people were in the vehicle at the time, but one person apparently had “minor” injuries, and was transported to an area hospital, the dispatcher said.

Police have not yet provided other details about the crash.

State troopers have since reopened the exit ramp, the state patrol reported.
