Elaine D. (Cardoni) Danielson, age 94, of Delavan, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn, WI. She was born in Two Rivers, WI, on April 4, 1921, to Victor and Rose (Yelmene) Cardoni. Elaine married the love of her life, Kenneth Danielson, on April 7, 1942, at St. Andrews in Delavan, WI. They were married for 64 years at the time of his death in 2006. In addition to her career of raising a loving family of six children, Elaine was also a member of the Darien American Legion Auxiliary and St. Andrews Catholic Church. She also loved to crochet, read, play cards, and was a member of several card clubs in Darien, with her husband and friends.
Elaine is survived by her six children: David (Karen) Danielson of Townsend, DE, Judy (Ed) Joseph of Sun Prairie, WI, Patsy (Brad) Brown of Delavan, WI, Richard (Janet) Danielson of Monona, WI, Jeana (Steve) Seibert of Tallahassee, FL, and Tom Danielson of Chandler, AZ; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; two sisters; four brothers; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
Private Family Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Darien Cemetery.
