Ruth A. Gregoire, age 75, of White-water/Milton passed away Wednesday, Oct. 14th, 2015. Ruth was born on February 5th, 1940, in Milton, WI, to Glen and Hannah (Peabody) Gregoire. Ruth grew up in Milton where she attended Milton Schools. In her adulthood, she worked at Mercy Hospital in the Dietary Depart-ment for 37 years. Ruth loved Elvis Presley, sparkly shoes, red hair, and having her nails done. Ruth attended Milton United Methodist Church and later in life St. Mary's Catholic Church in Janesville.
Ruth led a quiet life at home, but for the last several years was in assisted living where she helped others, welcomed guests, and as-sisted staff with household chores. She was continually praised for her smile, her welcoming attitude, and was fun to be with. Ruth's sweet disposition enamored her to staff and residents alike.
Ruth is survived by several nieces and nephews of the Griffin, Gregoire, Decker, and Woods families. She was predeceased by her parents, sisters Patty Griffin, Jeanne Decker, Hope Woods, and her brother Johnny Gregoire.
A Memorial Visitation for Ruth will be held from 6 PM until 8 PM. at ALBRECHT'S FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES in Milton, WI. Memorials may be directed to Fairhaven Retirement Community of Whitewater or Agrace Hospice.
