James Francis Hull, 89, of Beloit, WI, died Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, in Agrace Hospice Care, Janesville, WI. He was born June 16, 1926, in Janesville, WI, the son of Mark H. and Alice E. (Kealy) Hull. James was a 1946 graduate of Janesville High School and attended Milton College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. James married Catherine Marie Casey on Oct. 6, 1956, in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Janesville, WI. James was formerly employed by Fairbanks Morse and Beloit Corporation, as a mechanical engineer, retiring in 1999. He was a master wood worker, and he designed and built his own home. James was a founding member of the Alaskan Malamute Club of Wisconsin. He was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church for 57 years.
James survivors include his wife, Catherine Hull of Beloit, WI; children: Gabrielle A. Cordier of Fort Wayne, IN, Lisa M. Hull of Sun Prairie, WI, Matthew J. Hull of Beloit, WI, Phillip W. Hull of Madison, WI, James F. Hull Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, WI, and Michele D. Hull of Beloit, WI; grandchildren: Naomi Goodbear, Cristopher Hemmerling, Jillian Hemmerling, and Aaron Komosa; 10 great-grandchildren; twin brother, John J. (Sonia) Hull; and sister-in-law, Margaret (John) Connors. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Maurice; and sisters: Mary Alice Grant, Jean Zastrow, and Delores Cleveland.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for James will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, in OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2222 Shopiere Rd., Beloit, WI, with the Very Reverend Paul Ugo Arinze officiating. Entombment will be in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum, Janesville, WI. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday, in the church.
