Monte Box, 79, died of congestive heart failure on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015. Monte was born in Humansville, MO, the son of the late Ora Clifford and Margie M. (Gump) Box. After High school, he entered into the Air Force which relocated him to Wisconsin. On Sept. 21, 1957, in Madison, WI, Monte would marry the love of his life, Joyce Kammers. Monte was a self-employed Barber for 50 years in Janesville, and had many other hobbies and trades. His true joy was being around his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Monte is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Box of Milton; children: Vicki (Jim) Denson of Vancouver, WA, Kevin (Mary) Box of Milton, Steven (Hope) Box of Milton, David Box of Milton; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Betty; and mother-in-law, Ruth Kammers.
Memorial Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at the ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, Milton, with Pastor Garrett Struessel officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the start of the service at the FUNERAL HOME.
