D. Vivian Fillbach, age 104, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at Riverside Terrace. She was born Aug. 14, 1911, to the late George and Ellen (Wall) Upward in Iowa. Vivian married Clyde Fillbach in June of 1930. He preceded her in death in April of 1973. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Vivian enjoyed gardening and working in the school cafeteria, was a dedicated mother and homemaker.
Vivian is survived by her sons, Reo (Barb) Fillbach of Beloit, and Clayton (Betty) Fillbach of Yalaha, FL; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and six brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff at Riverside Terrace and the staff at Beloit Regional Hospice for the care they gave Vivian.
Vivian’s Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at the BRIAN G. MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, with Rev. Roger Elliott officiating. Interment is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Floral Lawns Cemetery. Friends will be received on Wednesday at the FUNERAL HOME from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
