Katherine Anastasia Spotz, 94, Williams Bay, passed away at her home peacefully with family at her side on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Katherine was born March 4th, 1921, in Fussen, Germany, to Xaver Machenschalk and Katherine Kogel. Katherine was married to Boro Spasojevich (Spotz) Jan. 30, 1957, after coming to America, with her son, Robert, by boat in 1953, where they planted their new roots in Williams Bay, WI. Katherine and her husband were active in their community and enjoyed giving countless hours to their church. Katherine also spent her time as a member of local women clubs. She had a great love for cooking and knitting and many enjoyed her flavorful and beautiful talents. She worked many years as a cleaning lady for Williams Bay residents and spent many hours keeping track of her beloved son, Bob. Katherine was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed traveling back to their home country in Fussen, Germany. She was loved dearly by her family and friends.

Katherine is survived by her son, Bob Spotz of Delavan, WI; her grandchildren: Bob (Carolyn) Spotz, Kurt (Lynda) Spotz and Heidi (Rob) Gamble; and her six great-grandchildren: Kari (Zack) Lawlor, Kurt Spotz Jr, Kristi Spotz, Clair Gamble, Catharine Gamble and Caleigh Gamble. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boro Spotz; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Spotz; her parents, Katherine and Xaver Machenschalk; two sisters and two brothers.

A Memorial Service will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORY GARDEN'S CHAPEL on Monday, Sept. 14th, at 11:30 a.m. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, is assisting the family. Please visit us at monroefh.com
