Nancy Sue Lucey, age 53, of Fort Atkinson, WI, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, after living many years with a degenerative neurological disease. Nancy was born July 7, 1962, in Janesville, the daughter of Richard Thomas and Anne Elizabeth (Kehoe) Lucey. She especially enjoyed coffee and getting together with her family, as well as Uno and other card games. Other favorites included comics, cows and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Caregivers frequently commented on Nancy’s sense of humor.

Survivors include her mother of Janesville; seven sisters: Mary (Tim) Fitzgerald of Tomball, TX, Ellen Lucey of Gilbert, AZ, Linda (Bill) Rinehart of DePere, WI, Carol (Mike) Striegl of Milton, WI, Jean (E.J.) Otto of Wausau, WI, Joyce (Mike) Johnson of South Beloit, IL, and Martha (Vern Armstrong) Lucey of Des Moines, IA; and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her father, Dick Lucey, and her sister, Janet Lucey.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 313 Wall St., Janesville, with Rev. Rob Butz presiding. Memorial visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the CHURCH. Burial of cremated remains will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Milton, WI.
