JoAnne Elizabeth Jacobs, age 68, of Fort Atkinson, WI, passed away on Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at her home. JoAnne was born in Fort Atkinson, WI, on June 16, 1947, the daughter of Willard and Nancy Jane (Turnbull) Hathaway. She graduated from Whitewater High School. On Feb. 21, 1983, JoAnne married Gordon Allen Jacobs in Las Vegas, NV. JoAnne worked for 23 years at Schweiger Furniture in Jefferson, WI, and then retired after 15 years at Moore's Seafood (Later Clorox) in Fort Atkinson, WI. JoAnne enjoyed bowling, loved gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Gordon Allen Jacobs of Fort Atkinson, WI; her daughter, Vikki (Hathaway) Bostwick and her husband, Mark; her grandchildren: Andrew Zastrow, Kiara Bostwick and Ravyn Bostwick; her sister, Judith Frohmader; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Thomas and Jim "Koz" Hathaway.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at 6 p.m. at the NITARDY FUNERAL HOMES CHAPEL, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI, with Rainbow Hospice Chaplain Shannon Finger officiating. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at the FUNERAL HOME until the time of the services.
