Dianne L. Redenius, Whitewater, WI (1954-2015)

Dianne L. (Quass) Redenius, 61, Whitewater, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at home with her family by her side after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer. Dianne was born in Fort Atkinson, on Jan. 7th, 1954, to Harold Quass and Patricia (Calhoun) Quass. She graduated from Whitewater High School in 1972, and worked 34 years at General Motors in Janesville, retiring in 2007. She was member of the United Auto Workers UAW Local 95 and truly enjoyed working with the employees at GM where she made many friends. She enjoyed vacationing, gardening, shopping, eating out and spending time with her friends and family, particularly her grandchildren. She had a remarkable laugh that was contagious and love to tell jokes and pull pranks. She was an avid animal lover and had many beloved pets throughout the years. She was especially close to her mother, Patricia Quass of Whitewater, and lifetime friend, Deb (Beardsley) Elertson of Holcombe.
Dianne is survived by her three children: Dionne Quass (Marc Garlock) of Fort Atkinson, David Redenius (Tonya Dotson) of Whitewater, and Jennifer Redenius (Rick McEndree) of Whitewater; seven grandchildren: Dawson Garlock, Tyler and Cody Gamble, Kaitlyn Redenius, Jacob and Alexa Goldberg, and Bristol McEndree; five siblings: Janice (Donald) Baechle of Jefferson, David (Mary) Quass of Janesville, Don (Gayle) Quass of Whitewater, Brenda (Randy) Grancorvitz of Fort Atkinson, and Brian Quass of Whitewater; her mother, Patricia Quass of Whitewater; a very special friend, Jim Finucan of Janesville; her beloved dog, “Pudge”; and multiple aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and cousins by the dozens. She was preceded by death by her father, Harold Quass.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug., 29, 2015, at the ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, Milton, with Pastor Delisa Buckingham-Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday night at the FUNERAL HOME from 4 until 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the start of the service. A luncheon will be held following the services at the Starin Park Community Center in Whitewater. Private burial services will be at a later date.
