Helen M. Wentler, age 78, of Janesville, died on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was born on June 27, 1937, in Edgerton, the daughter of James and Elvira (Ruosch) Arthur. She graduated from Edgerton High School. Helen married Carl D. Wentler on March 23, 1956, in Edgerton. She had been employed by Data Shop, retiring in 2013. Helen was a wonderful mother. She enjoyed cheering on the Brewers, visiting the casino, sewing, collecting cookbooks and reading.
Helen is survived by one son, Dean (Mindy Condella) Wentler of Black River Falls; two daughters, Diana Wentler of Edgerton, and Debra (Chris) Braun of Janesville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Millard and Clara (Duane Sr.) Snell; one brother, James Arthur, Jr.; and many other extended family members and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, David Wentler; two brothers, Henry and Charles Arthur.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at MILTON LAWNS MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL with Rev. Susan Lockman officiating. Interment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
