DELAVAN—This year's Shake the Lake will begin with award-winning country music and end with The Boat Drunks.

That's a promising set of musical bookends.

For the second year, Lake Lawn Resort is celebrating summer with Shake the Lake, a three-day mini music festival.

Although the festival is held on the grounds of the resort, it will be open to the public.  Festivalgoers also can take advantage of drinks and food specials, including a Friday fish fry, a Saturday rib fest and pulled pork sandwiches Sunday.

This year's musical lineup includes:

Friday, Aug. 21

7 p.m.: Singer-songwriter Ari Castronovo, who describes her style as “crossover country.”

8 p.m.: Bella Cain, winner of the 2012 Wisconsin Area Music Industry's County Group of the Year Award. The group has shared the stage with a number of county artists including Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. It also opened for the Oak Ridge Boys.

Saturday, Aug. 22

6 p.m.: Tombeau Road, which plays popular country songs and old-time favorites. The group has a serious following in the stateline area. ReverbNation, a website that helps local artists find larger audiences, ranked Tombeau Road its No. 1 country artist.

8:30 p.m.: Southern Drawl, which describes itself as a fusion of country, Southern rock, tropical rock and bluegrass music. The band has shared the stage with artists as diverse as Blackberry Smoke and Lynyrd Skynyrd, and it will open for country star Aaron Tippen in September. It also has collected several band of the year awards from groups including the Tropical Rock Music Association, Beachfront Radio and Knoxville, Tennessee's Metro Pulse.

Sunday, Aug. 23

Noon: The Bamboozlers, a reggae, country and tropical rock band. The group has the distinction of performing at an official Jimmy Buffett Parrothead Convention in Key West, Florida.

2 p.m.: The Boat Drunks, which play tropical rock. For the past 16 years, The Boat Drunks have performed Jimmy Buffett hits, their own original music and covers of the Beatles, Eagles and REO Speedwagon. The group has opened for Buffett, and their originals have received airplay on Buffett's Radio Margaritaville station on Sirius/XM.
