— PHILIP J. JOHNSON, 28, of 816 Sherman Ave., lower, and LEONARD T. GRUNDY, 24, of 413 S. Main St., Apt. B., at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of a Janesville business in the 100 block of South Harmony Drive, Janesville, on suspicion of possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver. Police had searched the two and the Volkswagen car they were in after a report of drug activity. Grundy had 150 oxycodone pills inside two bags. Johnson had $422 in cash rolled inside his sock along with 11 grams of marijuana.
Charged
— DEVONTE D. POE, 22, of 403 Rockport Road, Janesville, charged for battery by prisoner as a repeat criminal offender. He is accused of hitting another inmate at the Rock County Jail in the face Tuesday.
