Man arrested in fatal Beloit shooting
LAKEWOOD, WASHINGTON—Police in Washington state say they have arrested a man wanted in connection with a fatal Beloit shooting more than a year ago.
Police in Lakewood, Washington on Wednesday arrested Angelo Young, 32, according to a Beloit Police Department news release Wednesday.
Young has been wanted in connection with a shooting in Beloit April 25, 2014, that killed Raymond L. Holloway, 20, of 556 Highland Ave., Beloit.
The shooting happened just a block from where Holloway lived at the time, and was one of two apparently unrelated shootings in Beloit that day, police reported. Beloit Police Tuesday afternoon received a call from someone who gave an address to a residence in Lakewood.
Beloit detectives then contacted Lakewood police with the tip. Police located Young and took him into custody at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities plan to extradite Young, according to the release.
The release did not disclose what charges Young could face.
Previously, Jajuan Logan, 20, was previously convicted of second-degree reckless homicide for his role in Holloway's death. Logan was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
