James F. Murphy, age 74, of Sugar Creek passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015, at his home. He was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 11, 1941, to Harold and Ruby (De Long) Murphy. Jim worked for many years at Woodstock Die Cast. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a big car enthusiast.
Jim is survived by his three children: Kimberly Ann (Abraham) Brower of Elkhorn, Jacqueline Marie (Courtney) Giller of Delavan, and Phillip James Murphy of Madison; four grandchildren: Michele Burkheimer, Nicholas Brower, Lindsey Giller, and Caitlin Giller; two great-grandchildren, Brenna and Wyatt Burkheimer; and two siblings, Cathy Bishop and Harold “Dick” Murphy. Jim is preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters: Delores, Darlene, and Geraldine.
