UPDATE: Traffic cleared on Interstate 90/39 near Edgerton

The northbound lanes of Interstate 90/39 are cleared following a vehicle accident which backed up traffic for over an hour.
The accident happened at 2:11 p.m., according to a Wisconsin State Patrol news release. Traffic was cleared at 3:29 p.m., the release said.
One lane was closed and traffic was not detoured during the delay, a Wisconsin State Patrol spokesperson said.
The spokesperson was unable to say the number of cars involved or the cause of the accident.
