DELAVAN TOWNSHIP-- The Walworth County Dive team is continuing its search this morning for a swimmer who reportedly is missing in Delavan Lake.

Police were called to Town of Delavan Community Park off Wisconsin Highway 50 about 11 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 for a report of a missing swimmer.

When officials arrived on scene, they were informed that a 49-year-old man, who had been swimming from a boat, was now missing, according to Fox 6 news in Milwaukee.

“He was out with some friends on the lake at the time. At this time, we know he went overboard. We don't know exactly what happened and how he went overboard, and the friends were the people that called us,” Chief Raymond Clark, Town of Delavan Police Department told the TV station.
