Juanita Gibbs Sullivan, age 97, of Delavan, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015. She was born in Chicago, IL, on Aug. 3, 1917, to Clayton and Emma (Dobbelstein) Gibbs. Juanita married John Sullivan on March 17, 1942, in Chicago. He passed away on July 16, 1983.

Juanita is survived by her five children: Juan D. Sullivan of Kenosha, William (Elaine) Sullivan of Glenview, IL, Peggy (Joel) Duhl of Ormond Beach, FL, Gail Sullivan of Delavan, and Peter (Anne) Sullivan of Seattle, WA; seven grandchildren: Carrie (Kabir) Udeshi of Bombay, India, Clayton (Valerie) Duhl of Ormond Beach, FL, Lauren Sullivan of Pell Lake, WI, Julia Sullivan of Seattle, Peter Sullivan of Seattle, Jacqueline Sullivan of Nashville, TN, and Caroline Sullivan of Seattle; and three great-grandchildren: Ze Udeshi, and Lillian and Miriam Duhl. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; and three brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at ST. ANDREW’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 714 E. Walworth Ave. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the CHURCH. Burial will take place at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, IL.
