Harold G. Jennings, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. He was born on the family farm in Harmony Township, WI, on April 11, 1921, the son of George and Julia Jennings. On July 4, 1942, Harold married Helen Porter in Janesville. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served his country in Okinawa, at the end of World War II. Harold worked for J.P. Cullen and Sons for 37 years, and retired as a Construction Superintendent in 1983. In his retirement he enjoyed wood carving, traveling, and playing cards. Harold was an active member of McFarland United Church of Christ.

Harold is survived by his four children: Jo Ann (Bill) Binger, Sue (Roger) Richards, Georgia (Bob) Buehler, and Hal (Judy) Jennings; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; twin siblings, Jeanie Freeman and Paul (Jo Ann) Jennings; nieces and nephews; and many friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and three sisters: Rosalie Wagner, Marjorie Wenham, and Audree Meyer.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2015, at MCFARLAND UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 5710 Anthony Street, McFarland, with Rev. Kerri Parker officiating. Burial will take place at Milton Lawns Memorial Park in Janesville. Visitation will be held at CHURCH from 4 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2015, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday. Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare Inc., or to the church.
