A free “Entrepreneurship Over Easy” series of breakfast meetings beginning Thursday,July 9 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the BizStarts office at 1555 N. RiverCenter Drive, Milwaukee.

The series is jointly sponsored by the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

UW-Whitewater management professors William L. Dougan and David R. Gee will give an overview on “Lean Marketing” methods, including value creation through customer participation, ways to successfully leverage technology and the efficient use of resources for maximum results.

“The Lean Marketing approach is critical for any small business or entrepreneurial organization that wants to adapt the speed, agility and continuous improvement model of lean manufacturing to create successful sales and marketing campaigns,” said Patrick Snyder, USASBE executive director.

“We're thrilled that two members of our distinguished entrepreneurship faculty will be presenting at the 'Delivering Strong Growth with Lean Marketing' event,” Snyder said. “Both presenters have a combined wealth of business experience in the areas of management, sales and marketing, financials and venture planning, as well as startup entrepreneurial experience.

“Attendees will learn valuable business growth tools, including how to apply the Lean Startup feedback loop of 'build-measure-learn' to their own organizations. The Lean Marketing principles of agility, experimentation, ongoing customer participation and innovation can energize market discovery and growth in organizations of any size and life cycle stage.”
