Xtra Points Show: Bucks, Jets continue playoff push; NFL draft highlights busy weekend
John Barry is mad during this week's episode of Xtra Points.
The Gazette sports reporter is sick of watching Pau Gasol flop around and scream in hopes of drawing a foul call. And he's angry that the North American Hockey League snubbed Janesville Jets goalie Matt Jurusik out of multiple awards after a fantastic season.
We try to cool Barry down long enough to judge the Bucks' chances of pulling of NBA playoff history by coming back from a 3-0 series deficit and the Jets, who are on the cusp of earning a spot in the Robertson Cup semifinals.
We also talk about a big weekend for sports, including what the Green Bay Packers might do when the draft starts Thursday. The first round of the draft kicks off what should be a fantastic sports weekend, with Saturday including the Kentucky Derby and the long-awaited fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
As always, our theme music is "Rock Hybrid" by Kevin MacLeod. Find more of his work at his website.
