Man dies from injuries suffered in Beloit motorcycle crash

BELOIT—Brody M. Austin, 19, of Walworth died Sunday night after a motorcycle crash earlier in the day in Beloit, according to a Dane County Medical Examiner's Office news release issued Wednesday.
The crash happened around noon Sunday at Gateway Boulevard and Town Hall Road. Austin was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, where he died later that night, the release said.
The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office conducted a forensic exam Tuesday, and preliminary results confirm that Austin died from crash-related injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Beloit Police Department and the Rock County Medical Examiner's Department.
“He was the lone occupant of the motorcycle and riding with a group of friends,” said Sgt. Dan Risse of the Beloit Police Department.
