--DARRIN L. TIMLER, 50, of 11102 N. Goede Road, No. 111, Edgerton, at 10:54 p.m. Friday at The Comfort Inn, same address, on charges of strangulation/suffocation, battery and disorderly conduct. He is accused of punching, slapping and choking a woman he knows.
Intoxicated driving arrests
--MATTHEW J. LUCHSINGER, 22, of 9725 N. Highway 51, Edgerton, at 8:44 p.m. Friday at 8536 N. Highway 51 in the town of Fulton, after an accident was reported at Highway 51 and County M. Also arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
--MICHAEL J. JURAS, 26, of 609 E. Memorial Drive, Janesville, at 2:26 a.m. Sunday at Benton and Milton avenues, Janesville. Also arrested on a charge of hit and run after an accident reported in the 1000 block of Milton Avenue, Janesville.
--KRISTOPHER B. BUTLER, 25, of 1325 Josephine St., Janesville, after an accident at 12:48 a.m. Sunday at Center and Stateline roads in the town of Avon.

--FRAUD, to a town of Bradford couple, reported at 12:24 p.m. Wednesday. The man reported someone used his wife’s Social Security number to file a tax return with a $1,500 refund and had the money placed on a Green Dot debit card. The card was mailed to the couple’s home.
--ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, reported at 3:01 p.m. Saturday on South County H in the town of Plymouth, where multiple signs of attempted forced entry were found.
--CAR THEFT, from a driveway reported at 5:41 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Pease Court, Janesville. The car was left open with the keys inside. An officer found the car later in the 500 block of South Fremont Street, Janesville.
--BURGLARY, reported at 6:40 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Harding Street, Janesville. Property in a garage was vandalized.

--STATION STREET, SHARON, at about 2:30 p.m. Monday. No other details could immediately be confirmed.
